STREET FIGHTER

ENTER STREET FIGHTER

"A hermit who seeks a fighter worthy to inherit his fighting style. He binds one arm while fighting, to keep him from prematurely ending fights and overwhelming his opponent, except when performing specific super arts." The soundtrack of Third Strike is beautifully crafted by Hideki Okugawa as it really sets the mood for the journey a player shall embark in Street Fighter.

DARK SOULS

Only Death Awaits

The only thing keeping the reminants of a broken controller/keyboard as well as a player's sanity when they first encountered Dark Souls was Motoi Sakuraba's magnificent soundtrack. Equal parts breathtaking and harrowing, Sakuraba crafted 31 pieces of simply wondrous music. These tracks are a must listen if your into dark gritty echoing tunes.

  3. Majula (Dark Souls II):

BASTION

Hello Traveler

Bastion, a lonely, artistically beautiful, and perfectly soundtracked action game released in 2011. Peppered with the brilliant vocal performance of Logan Cunningham as the game's narrator, Darren Korb's score for Bastion is full of songs that tow the lines between hope, adventure, and despair...

  1. In Case Of Trouble:
  2. Spike In A Rail:
  3. Terminal March:
  4. Setting Sail, Coming Home (End Theme):
  5. Faith of Jevel:
  6. Bynn the Breaker:
  7. Pale Watchers:
JET SET RADIO

A Fugitive With
Spray-Cans

Jet Set Radio, a neo-futuristic adventure where players could ride around Tokyo streets, leaving a trail of graffiti under the blazing beats wherever they tread. The soundtrack contained some licensed tracks, but the real piece of history here is the original compositions from by Hideki Naganuma. Inspired big beat, J-pop, and rave, these reved-up tunes made it feel as if you were truly skating into the future, under police survalience of course...

  1. Let Mom Sleep:
  2. That's Enough:
  3. Shape Da Future:
  4. Sneakman:
  5. Moody's Shuffle:
  6. What About The Future:
  7. Jet Set Medley:

THIS IS SOME COOL STUFF: Inspiration

THIS IS SOME COOL STUFF: I suggest listening to the soundtracks for Persona, Portals 1 and 2, Hades, and Killer 7 plus others that you find there! This might be illegal but was used for this webapge :)))

SIDE NOTE: I have personally played all these video games sometime in my youth and found great enjoyment in listening to the various tracks. The tunes played greatly influenced my musical taste now, which I am not proud of. None the less, most of these games are available for cheap or if you want to get them for free by pirating them, so be it!
