~Anime~

I love anime. There are so many shows out there that are good and then there are some that are masterpieces. I love so many aspects of anime itself. The storytelling of many anime, cliffhangers, original soundtracks, characters, plots, and the animations are all the reason I was drawn into the world of anime. There are also so many emotions that are explicitly expressed through the art of anime. Below are some recommendations of anime you should watch (if you haven't seen already). Also, here is a great opening I love listening to.

Attack on Titan

Attack on Titan is a masterpiece. I am absolutely in love with the storytelling that has spanned over four seasons, in which the final season is currently airing. The suspense and cliffhangers each and every episode makes me so much more excited for the next one. Each Sunday, I have to wait until 3:45 PM for the episode to air on Crunchyroll, and I am very impatient. The music is god tier and the characters are very well written. The characterization throughout this story is mind-blowing and it is so good! There are also so many plot twists and small hidden details for foreshadowing that are then realized when people suddenly remember about it. I have also finished reading the manga for the this anime and watching the actual animation makes it even better.

Demon Slayer

Demon Slayer is a must-watch. The animation and artwork are some of the best in the industry animated by Ufotable. Also, every time a new arc is aired, the animation tops up the previous, and it always gets better. It can be clearly seen from the first season through the end of the second season. Although the third season is going to release in 2023, Demon Slayer definitely lives up to its hype. Moreover, the music is so so so so good. Although the plot is not the most insane plot such as that of Attack on Titans' and it is just a seinen anime where a teenager grows stronger to defeat the antagonist, it is still so good. I love watching Demon Slayer and you should watch it too.

Re:Zero

Re:Zero is definitely one of my all time favorite anime. The characterization of the main character through his special power was really powerful and it created many interesting scenarios. The interactions between the main character and other characters are always so fun to watch because of the use of his secret power, and there are so many mysteries that have yet to be explored. I cannot wait for a season three to be announced.

Naruto

Naruto is actually split into two different series, one being "Naruto" and the other being "Naruto Shippuden". Naruto is the original show in which it portrays his childhood life and how he is starting to become an actual ninja. In Naruto Shippuden, he is older and it is where all the juicy action works. The show is 770 episodes in total, but most of it is just filler content, meaning it does not relate to the main story line. There are many movies for the series as well that are not part of the main story but are fun to watch if you're bored. Watching all of Naruto will definitely take time, but the relationships between the characters are so intricate and the individual characters are so interesting regarding their traits and actions. There is also a series after Naruto's story is finished that concerns his son but I have not watched it yet.

Death Note

Death Note is simply a classic anime and it is rated as one of the best anime to be made. When the main character, Light, picks up a notebook that could kill anyone by writing their name down and seeing their face. In the opposition, L, a world-renowned detective tries to shut down Light, who kills criminals using the notebook. The plot of this anime is really interesting and displays different views on morality. Moreover, watching Light and L using their insanely high IQ to basically battle each other was really fun and made me wish I was also super smart like them, but I am not unfortunately. Death Note is definitely a good anime to watch, especially if someone has never watched anime before. Even though Death Note was animated in 2006 and might not be as "modern" as today's anime, it had a strong plot and message, and it's only 37 episodes.

Also, if you ever run out of anime to watch or looking for something to watch, I have a My Anime List (MAL) with a bunch of anime, especially in my plan to watch list.
