Some Things I Like

Here is my first section.
Here is my second section.
Here is my third section.

This is honestly just a compilation of some of my preferences. Please feel free to try or check any of this out, I obviously love everything I mention on this page.

Food

There are many food places in the city that I highly recommend. However, right now I’d like to share one of my favorite recipes. It’s for a chocolate mug cake (a comfort food of mine) and takes no more than ten minutes and a microwave to make. Heres what ingredients you will need:

  • Dry Ingredients
    • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
    • ¼ cup white sugar
    • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
    • ⅛ teaspoon baking soda
    • ⅛ teaspoon salt
  • Liquid Ingredients
    • 3 tablespoons milk
    • 2 tablespoons canola oil
    • 1 tablespoon water
    • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract

This recipe is incredibly simple. Just mix all your dry ingredients together in a mug (sifting not necessary but recommended!), stir in the liquids, and microwave for about a minute and forty five seconds. Let it cool for thirty seconds (it will be very hot) and then enjoy!

Making Stuff

I’m a person who does a lot of physical crafts. For some reason, tactile activities with a clear product just really interest me. This includes but is not limited to drawing, knitting, sewing, jewelry making, sculpting, and so on.

I’m also not entirely sure where I meant to go with this but I suppose it’s turning into a bit of an about me section.

It’s not just making things. Really, the overarching concept is that of getting something out of it. That’s a little clunky but I’ll explain. I also do ballet, for example, and have since about six years old. I get a clear product from taking ballet – the consequence is improvement to my posture, my movement, my strength. Honestly, ballet is CRIMINALLY underestimated (specifically regarding difficulty) but that’s another story.

Point is that I like doing things that have tangible results. I’m not sure why I’m writing this, but it definitely relates to me and my interests and that’s what Mr. Brooks asked for. This website is actually a pretty good case in point

I hope you enjoyed my website! Provided you actually read it. Anyways, here's a link back to the top.
