| VALORANT |
VALORANT is a 5v5 tactical shooter game. I started playing sometime in April,
and it's basically the only game I play nowadays. I used to play a lot of unrated matches with my friends,
but recently, I've gotten more interested in ranking. I enjoy playing VALORANT because not only does it require skill,
such as good hand-eye coordination, but game sense is also necessary. Working as a team and plotting different
strategies can sometimes turn the tables. The sense of community is very spectacular. |

Recommendation |
I've been watching anime since I was in elementary school. When I was young, I usually watched with my sister,
and I was most invested during my middle school days. Because of anime, I ended up making some really great friends in
middle school. My current top recommendation is an anime called
Weathering With You.
Rainie, weather, Weathering With You... get it? All jokes aside though, this anime has incredible art that sets a very
unique mood throughout the whole movie. If you're looking for some beautiful scenery and relatable characters, this
anime is for you! |

| Ornithology |
I'm currently doing ornithology for Stuyvesant's Science Olympiad. Ornithology is basically studying and memorizing birds.
In Science Olympiad, we are required to memorize a list of 100+ birds as well as the defining characteristics of different variants
of that bird (e.g. female, juvenile, etc.). At first, I was doing this event for the sake of the team, but over time, it became more
fun to study with my peers and work with them during my competitions. In particular, I like the bobolink (reference to the right).
Unfortunately, ornithology is being switched to dendrology next year, so I'll have to start from scratch... ;(
