Basketball, obviously, is a popular sport in U.S. There are 5 versus 5 people, where one side is on defense and the other on offense. Defense protects the other team from scoring in their own basket. Offense tries to score a basket in the defender's team.

I started basketball when I was in 5th grade. My mom wanted me to get more exercise, therefore, I started basketball. I played in the middle school girls basketball team, however, it was not very official. Official team was created in my 8th grade year, however, pandemic hit and I lost my chance. During my middle school years, I also joined CYO (Catholic Youth Organization) and I was in a outside league as well. I continue to play basketball in High School now. I enjoy basketball because I believe it is easier to handle balls using hands rather than foot, which I find soccer difficult about.
