Valorant is a competitive shooter game created by Riot Games. It was launched in June 2nd, 2020 and is a high-stakes tactical gunplay. It consists of 18 agents, which are Astra, Breach, Brimstone, Chamber, Cypher, Jett, Kay/O, Killjoy, Neon, Omen, Phoenix, Raze, Reyna, Sage, Skye, Sova, Viper, and Yoru. Agents are sorted by the category of Duelist, Initiator, Sentinel and Controllers. I will be specifically describing some of my favorite agents below. Each agent has different abilities to aid them to win the match.There are a total of seventeen guns in Valorant, which are sorted in sidearms, SMGs, shotguns, heavy machine guns, rifles, and snipers.
Viper is my favorite and main agent that I play with almost all the time. She is a controller, who are "experts in slicing up dangerous territory to set their team up for success."(Official Game Description). She controls areas with her abilities: Snake Bite, Poison Cloud, Toxic Screen, and her Ultimate Viper's Pit. She can be described as savage and agressive, obviously not the calmest agent. I really like the amount of damage that she can do with her abilities and her ultimate power looks very grand.
I also love Jett because she is quick and agile. I started playing Valorant with Jett because that time I still did not unlock Viper yet. Jett is a Duelist, who is "self-sufficient fragger(s) who their team expects, through abilities and skills, to get high frags and seek out engagements first." (Official Game Description) In simpler terms, it means that they are the best shooter on the team. Jett is popular as a Duelist due to her ability of drifting and dashing, which becomes useful when being attacked. She is also a Korean Agent.
Neon is the newest agent released by Valorant on January 12th, 2022. She is a a duelist and similar to Jett, has dashing abilities. Her abilities are Relay Bolt, High Gear, and Overdrive. Her Replay Bolt shoots out two walls of neon out that allows her to run through it and it also damages any agents that comes in contact with the wall. Overdrive is her ultimate ability, which is actually super deadly. Her light zaps you as quick as you die. I also love her for her appearance and personality. Unlike Viper, she is more cheerful and energetic. I am close to unlocking her in Valorant, therefore, I hope to know more about her when I have her!
Killjoy is very multitalented with all her creations from her engineer mind. I don't have her, unfortunately, but she is still a very powerful agent. She is categorized as a Sentinel, who are "defensive experts who can lock down areas and watch flanks, both on attacker and defender rounds."( Official Game Description). Her abilities are Alarmbot, Nanoswarm, Turret, Lockdown. Her Turret shots at enemies that comes close. Her Lockdown is also very powerful because it forces enemies to leave from a site, which is usually used for spike defending. Players that do not leave a certain site that the Lockdown is on will be detained. However, her lockdown can also be destroyed if found. I look forward to unlocking her!
