I really enjoy watching different variety of shows, including anime, japanese drama, chinese drama, korean drama, thai drama, etc. Among the shows I’ve watched, I would say thrillers, romances, and comedies are the best! These are some I would recommend:

Case Closed was originally a Japanese detective manga series and was then adapted to a anime series. It started releasing from 1994 all the way to this day, and still hasn’t ended yet. The protagonist, Shinichi Kudo is a high school detective that was forced to ingest a pill (APTX 4869) by agents of the Black Organization, which transformed him back into a child. He adapts the name, Conan Edogawaand lives upon his best friend (CRUSH), Ran Mouri and her father.

The Promised Neverland was an anime my friends and I watched over zoom a while ago, and it was very thrilling to watch. The series follows a group of orphaned children that plans for escaping after learning the dark truth behind their existence and the purpose of the orphanage. There are a lot of plot twists and spooky scenes that gets you goosebumps, but also moments of strong affections between the group of children that is very touching.

The Gifted is a Thai television series that follows the process of a bunch of kids discovering their supernatural abilities in this special program taking place in their school.

Love in the Moonlight is a Korean drama about the love story of a prince and his political eunuch, who is actually a woman disguised as a man.

Ghibil movies are great to go movie choices as well! Although the plot is less twisty, the beautiful art and message behind the movies deserve multiple watches.
