Mason Yam's Pokedex
Made by: Mason Yam, PD9
Hi, I'm Mason, I don't play pokemon, but one summer I tried to collect and trade pokemon cards so I have some opinions on that. First of all, I don't think anyone casually plays pokemon as a physical game. How are you supposed to play it? You use the element cards and the coins, but pokemon barely includes them in the packs, so how are you supposed to play without investing a significant amount of money into getting enough cards to just play the game? Without using them that way, they're just collected art. I also dont understand why people pay so much for Pokemon cards. Its not like thay have a signifigant amount of effort put into them. Aside from limited edition cards and marked ones, why do people pay so much for them? I don't think its particularly hard to make? And what do these people do with the leftovers? Do you just throw bagfulls of cards into the garbage?
