I also play the piano and cello and enjoy filmmaking. I’m very excited to continue to help grow the modern dance community here at Stuy and share my love for dance with you all! |

| Hi everybody!! I’m Zoe, the President-in-Training! I’m currently a sophomore. I started taking ballet when I was 3, and I trained at the American Ballet Theater school until I was 14, taking classes in ballet, pointe, Horton modern, and character. I also play the oboe, and I’m on the Girls’ Golf team (yes, it exists). I've directed SOS, StuySquad, and SING!, and I’m so excited to keep working with the dance community at Stuy!! (P.S. Hi there! This is Celina, the Social Media Manager! I'm currently a junior at Stuy. I started dancing in middle school as a hobby and have continued ever since. So far I’ve explored hip-hop, contemporary, jazz, ballet and, of course, modern. Outside of dance, I also love science (especially crime related) and crochet. | Hey y’all!!! I'm Brisa, a senior, and I’m one of the choreographers for StuyModern. I’ve been doing ballet since I was 7 and went to a technical ballet middle school. I started exploring other dance styles like hip hop, jazz funk, modern, etc. when I came to Stuy, even getting to direct many performances. Dance is so so important to me and I can’t wait to share that passion with all of you guys. Very excited to meet everyone and start teaching! |
Hi!! I’m Sara, one of the choreographers, and I’m a sophomore right now! I started ballet at 3, and did a combination of that, jazz, and modern. Now, I’m still doing ballet (like, a lot) and some contemporary too. Dance is such a fun, kind-of-stressful thing to do, and it’s so awesome to teach it to people! |
